Flushing normally takes place within the clean rooms. Fluids are constantly monitored and particle counts made, until target cleanliness levels are achieved. Schoolhill will undertake flushing to NAS1638 class level 4.
It must be noted that cleanliness begins with Design, not cleaning or flushing.
In order to maintain cleanliness in operation, the design must be capable of sustaining the desired cleanliness level. For example, steel to steel moving parts are not acceptable. While this is of paramount importance at Schoolhill, it is often overlooked by other manufacturers.
Parts must be thoroughly cleaned prior to their assembly and Schoolhill have ultrasonic bath cleaning facilities.
